Description and purpose of the training
Cloud Analytics & CDS - listen to SE16N and Commvault specialists and learn about the possibilities offered by SAP Analytics Cloud tools in planning and running a business.
The training courses include:
- Showing the possibilities offered by SAP Cloud Analytics tools
- Familiarizing participants with the concepts and capabilities of SAP reporting systems
- Overview of the current SAP product line in the field of analytics.
- Presentation of experiences in the implementation of projects using SAP Cloud Analytics
Training addressees
The training is aimed at:
- Solution architects
- SAP team leaders interested in analytical systems
- SAP system administrators
Basic requirements for participants
Participants should have basic knowledge of SAP systems and understand general issues related to reporting and the cloud.
It is required to have your own laptop during training.
The maximum number of participants from one company is 2 people.

Scope
► SESSION 1 - Beginning - introductory session
Presentation of the leaders and the purpose of the workshop
Description of the current SAP product line in the area of analytics. Comparison of S / 4HANA Embedded Analytics solutions vs BW / 4HANA.
Review of reporting tools, including: SAP Business Objects BI, Lumira, SAP Analytics Cloud.

► SESSION 2 - CommVault
Presentation of Commvault solutions for the SAP environment in the area of backup, archiving and automation of DevOps processes.

► SESSION 3 - Introduction to S / 4HANA Embedded Analytics
Presentation of standard reports and analytical applications in the S / 4HANA environment.
Accelerated development of CDS Analytical Query. Case Study based on the design experience gained.

► SESSION 4 - SAP analytics in the cloud: Analytics Cloud and Data Warehouse Cloud
Overview of SAP Analytics Cloud service capabilities. Presentation of Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics tools in SAC.
SAC report development process: creation of connection, data model and interactive analytical dashboard.
Presentation of the product map of analytical solutions in the cloud, including SAP Data Warehouse Cloud.

► SESSION 5 - CDS / Analytics Cloud - practical workshop
Practical workshop using SAP Analytics Cloud accounts created especially for participants.
Each participant will receive a description of exercises to be performed in the S / 4HANA Development Workench environment and the SAP Analytics Cloud portal.
Exercises will also be presented and performed by the workshop leader.
Practical workshop (part 1)
During the workshop, a report in the SAP Analytical Query CDS technology will be prepared, based on the S / 4HANA Embedded Analytics solution.
Practical workshop (part 2)
On the basis of the analytical query prepared in the previous part, a Dashboard in SAP Analytics Cloud will be created.
