Esselte is a manufacturer and retailer of office supplies with subsidiaries in 25 countries and stores in more than 120 countries. The company's customers include both wholesale and direct sales entities, as well as hypermarkets and retailers. Established in 1913 in Stockholm, Esselte is today owned by the American office supplies manufacturer ACCO Brands.
Challenge
The company focuses on innovation and a high level of customer service, which are aspects applicable thanks to SAP systems implemented in various areas of the organization's operations.
Esselte has decided to delegate responsibilities related to the administration of SAP ERP systems, the SAP APO system environment, SAP CRM Redwood, SAP Solution Manager and Process Integration.
Key Project Activities
As part of technical support, SE16N performed the following tasks for Esselte:

- General SAP BASIS administration;
- Patch management (SAP BASIS, DBMS, OS, standard tools);

- Segregation of SOD obligations at the level of authorization objects;
- Backup and restore of SAP systems;
