Enea SA - a Polish energy company based in Poznań. Enea Capital Group, for which Enea SA is a dominant entity, it operates in the full value chain of the energy market: hard coal mining, electricity generation, distribution of electricity, energy trading.
Primary Client objective
Adaptation of systems in accordance with the latest solutions as part of SAP best practices. Implementations and migrations that improve the efficiency and functionality of systems.
Enea paid special attention to the appropriate level of administration and maintenance of newly configured systems.
The license audit was important from the point of view of the availability of an appropriate number of users under selective licenses. Such actions contributed to the optimization of costs.
Our solution
The solution offered by SE16N was:
- BASIS technical support and administration;
- Implementation of the integration bus and interfaces based on SAP NetWeaver Process Integration;
- Migration of the SAP BW environment to the SAP HANA technology platform;
- Migration of the SAP ERP HCM system environment to a new hardware infrastructure using Vmware virtualization and an Oracle database;
- As part of administrative services, SE16N supported the entire system environment of SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP SRM, SAP NW PI (Process Integration), SAP NW EP, SAP MDM and SAP Solution Manager;
- SAP license measurement using appropriate tools;
- System optimization in terms of license violations (update tasks, stored procedures, RFC connections, data transfers).
